Hey, y'all! I'm Salma, the gal behind Better Food and mom to a 4-month-old boy.

So, welcome to my own virtual kitchen!

Me and my brother, Anas (who is happens to be the Project Manager), started Better Food out of an interest for healthy eating.

But here's the twist: What started as an enthusiasm for wholesome ingredients became a passion for anything related to food, from delicious and nourishing recipes to insightful cooking tips to must-have kitchen gadgets.

So, 10 years in, we've tasted and cooked with almost every food out there, be that veggies, fruits, and legumes.

Plus, we've seen my fair share of fad diets, hip appliances, and trendy cooking hacks come and go – which is why we know first-hand which ingredients, tips and devices are actually worth your time and money.

Of course, it's not just our decade-long engagement with food that makes Better Food a... better choice (pun intended!).

In an attempt to make this virtual kitchen a go-to place for all things food and cooking, we work with a team of highly skilled professionals -think chefs, nutritionists, etc.- who share their insight every chance they get.

That being said, you can be 100% sure that every piece of information we share here, on Better Food, is double-checked and approved by experts.

The best part? We go above and beyond to provide you with unique ideas and tips which means you're bound to learn something new every day.

And a word of wisdom: We strongly believe that cooking “better food” is all about having the right tools – which is why we share our honest opinions on today's most buzz-worthy kitchen appliances.

By doing so, you have all the information you need to make an educated choice and invest in a gadget that's perfect just for YOU and you alone.

So, whether you're looking for the best cookie recipe out there or just want to know which blender is worth the splurge, I hope Better Food helps you become a... better cook and a mindful eater.
