  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, unsweetened.

Over medium high heat, in the pressure cooker, Place the ground beef; cook until crumbly and brown, for eight to ten minutes. Drain off the excess fat after removing the ground beef.

Return, now, the open pressure cooker, over medium heat, to the burner. Pour in the olive oil you already have, and stir in jalapeno pepper, green pepper, and the onion.

Stir and cook until the onion is translucent, for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add the garlic, stir and cook for a half minute. After doing this, you should return the meat to the pressure cooker.

Now, mix salt, cumin, chili powder, red pepper flakes, cocoa powder, brown sugar, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, the kidney beans, and water.

At the end, you should lock the lid, stir the cooker to pressure, and try to reduce the heat to maintain pressure, after doing this, bake it for eight minutes.

Then, remove the cooker from the heat, after that, let the pressure reduces by itself, Five to ten minutes.

If the pressure is released, you can remove the lid, wiggle the chili, and now you may serve the awesome meal.


Pressure Cooker Mashed Potatoes

The second recipe in this post is one of my favorites, it will take a little bit more time to be prepared (55 minutes)

But it is really simple and easy .

The ingredients that you will need are:

  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper.
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt.
  • 1/2 cup whole milk.
  • 1/4 cup butter.
  • 3/4 inch thick.
  • 3 half pounds russet potatoes sliced and peeled.
  • 3 cups cold water

To prepare this meal properly, you should follow these directions:

Bring, to a boil, water, over high heat, in a pressure cooker. When the water is boiling, you should add potatoes. Then, seal lid and bring the cooker up (to a high pressure).

Cook for 30 minutes, after reducing heat to low and maintaining high pressure.

Clean potatoes and return them to the pressure cooker. After doing this, add milk and butter and cover, for five minutes, the pressure cooker with lid, allow the heat to melt the butter and warms the milk.

Now you can remove lid. Season with white pepper and kosher salt, also you can use a hand masher to mash potatoes until lumps are gone. Then, Transfer it to a bowl and it should be served hot.

A tip to follow to make this pressure cooker greater than before:

To add more flavors to an awesome as it is dish; try to mix in a bit of chopped green onions or prepared horseradish. You may also substitute the cream cheese for some of the milk.

Personally speaking, I also prefer using a mixture of 1 tablespoon lemon juice, half cup sour cream, and one teaspoon dill (mixed 30 minutes beforehand for flavors to mingle) in place of the milk.
